1. Projects
in Computer Network classes. It will involve mainly the performance evaluation
of different static network architectures by considering throughput, routing
time etc. as the performance measuring parameters to name a few. Different
routing algorithms for the same network will also be analyzed together
with the different congestion control mechanisms, through simulation. 2. The simulator will be extensively used
to supervise several MS students' thesis in the area of computer networks
including both static and mobile. 3. It will be used to simulate the theoretical
results of research, currently being conducted here in both static and
mobile network environments
