In recent in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) literature, there has been a growing interest in the use of othogonal coding schemes to improve performance of multiuser communications over wireless and wideband channnels.The current research effort will be directed toward the discovery and performance evaluation of minimum multiuser interference (MMI) codes using direct-sequence code-division-multiple-access (DS-CDMA) systems. This effort will build upon prior efforts employed in the evaluation of CDMA over optical fiber channels. OPNET will be used as one of the software tools to conduct these evaluations.
