Description
Networks are constantly changing as devices and services are added, removed, and modified. The changes, if applied incorrectly, may leave networks and devices vulnerable to a variety of problems including traffic bottlenecks, service disruption, and security vulnerabilities. It is important to find an effective means to detect and diagnose misconfigurations as early as possible. Documenting network changes and assessing compliance against well-known security standards, e.g., PCI-DSS and HIPAA, greatly reduce the risks by enforcing strict controls.

Using IT Sentinel or SP Sentinel, this session demonstrates end-to-end workflows on how to validate the configurations of network devices. Periodic automated audits of your network help find problems that may impact routing, switching, performance, survivability, and security. Identifying misconfigurations and hidden problems early prevents them from growing into bigger fire-fighting exercises.

This session covers the details of how to assess the health and compliance of your network using IT or SP Sentinel. It demonstrates the various features of IT or SP Sentinel including NetDoctor validation, Network Differences reports, trending network health, and management-level reports.
