Prerequisites

You must have attended either one of the Intro to VNE Server Instructor-Led training

You should already be familiar with the configuration of adapter chains in VNE Server.
Basic understanding of networks and network management platforms
Basic understanding of network technology and network performance data
Familiarity with general purpose and major workflows of Guru or OPNET Modeler
Familiarity with Guru or Sentinel

Description
Through instruction and demonstration, this session highlights VNE Server's discovery and maintenance adapters. This session presents several methods you can use to discover your network before importing device configurations and topology data used to create an accurate model of your Layer-2/Layer-3 network.

Additionally, this session shows you how to configure VNE Server for continuous, unattended operation to achieve a continuously valid model of your network for use in planning, engineering, design, analysis, and operations.
