OPNET Certification Program
With the OPNET certification program, you can become recognized as an expert user of OPNET products. If you employ OPNET solutions for application troubleshooting, application pre-deployment analysis, application monitoring, network capacity planning, or other network engineering "what-if" analyses, you are a candidate for certification.
Certification Options
IT professionals seeking OPNET certification can choose between three exams that assess their knowledge and ability to apply OPNET solutions to solve IT-related problems:
- OPNET Certified Application Analysis Professional (OCAAP) for the ACE analysis solutions
- OPNET Certified Network Planning Professional (OCNPP) for IT Guru Network Planner
- OPNET Certified ACE Live Professional (OCALP) for ACE Live
Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive a letter, a certificate, and an individual certification ID number. Certification is valid for 2 years and can be renewed by passing a subsequent test.
Recommended Prerequisites
- Complete all tutorials and read all of the product documentation
- Complete open-enrollment OPNET training classes
- Have 3 to 4 months experience using the OPNET solutions to solve real-world problems
