Services

OPNET provides the de facto standard network modeling and simulation environment for the defense industry. OPNET models may use a variety of simulation technologies including sequential discrete event and fully parallel discrete event simulation, flow analysis, hybrid simulation, and co-simulation. The appropriate technology for your project depends on your intended application. For example, OPNET models can be used for detailed simulation in support of technology R&D or for more operational use-cases, such as faster-than-real-time communications effects simulation and network planning.

Below is a partial list of OPNET models developed for the US Department of Defense's JCSS (formerly NETWARS) program. These primarily make use of discrete event simulation. For more information about OPNET's simulation technologies or JCSS, please email info@opnet.com.
