1. OPNET software is supported on the English language version of each operating system.
2. The VNE Server component of sentinel is not supported on 64-bit editions of Windows or Linux operating systems, nor on Windows 2003 Web Edition.
3. Sentinel will not operate on machines with the Intel Itanium processor.
4. Supported under Windows Server 2003 instances, running within virtual machines hosted by VMware ESX Server 2.0 and 3.0, subject to the following notes and limitations.

An implementation of Sentinel comprises the following components:
- The VNE Server for Sentinel
- The back-end Oracle database required by VNE Server
- Sentinel Analysis and Automation
- The Report Server for Sentinel
