OPNET’s satellite communication capabilities are used in the design, planning, and operations of NASA programs, military communications and for commercial services ranging from VSAT's, GEO, Big-LEO, video broadcast, and broadband data services. OPNET provides the capability to model and simulate satellite equipment and architectures, including ground stations, orbits, complex antenna patterns, transponder characteristics, and signal propagation effects. OPNET software optimizes operational systems with efficient use of orbital assets allowing customers to adapt rapidly to dynamic traffic conditions.
