The Modeler™ Wireless Suite extends the functionality of OPNET Modeler® with high-fidelity modeling, simulation, and analysis of wireless networks. The suite provides the industry's most flexible and scalable wireless network modeling environment, and includes a broad range of powerful technologies for accelerating simulation run-time. The software offers full protocol stack modeling capability with the ability to model all aspects of wireless transmissions, including RF propagation, interference, transmitter/receiver characteristics, node mobility including handover, and the interconnection with wired transport networks.

Wireless technology developers can take advantage of OPNET's simulation capabilities and rich protocol model suites to optimize their R&D processes, and more effectively design technologies such as MANET, IEEE 802.11 WLAN, 3G/4G, Ultra Wide Band, IEEE 802.16 WiMAX, Bluetooth, and Satellite. Wireless network planners, architects, and operations professionals can analyze end-to-end behavior, tune network performance, and evaluate growth scenarios for revenue-generating network services.
