A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end application performance across the entire IT infrastructure is necessary to ensure service level objectives are met before and after production deployment.  In most cases, application performance problems can be identified and prevented before operational deployment with a comprehensive, repeatable, and quantitative methodology that enables service level expectations to be met consistently. 

OPNET has developed an Application Network Readiness (ANR) service for determining the impact of application deployments on existing or planned IT infrastructures.  The ANR process allows applications to be “scored” and certified based on end-to-end performance objectives, such as response time, before production deployment or migration to consolidated systems.
