Farid has over 26 years of experience with telecommunications and information technology.  He is the Director of Global Telecommunications Operations at Dell, where he is responsible for managing Dell’s global data and voice networks.  Farid is a user of OPNET both at his current position and at his previous position at MBNA, where he was the Senior Vice-President in charge of MBNA’s global data network engineering and operations.  Previous to his position at MBNA, he was a Senior Vice-President at Bank of America responsible for Network Engineering, Server Gateway Engineering, and Network Contingency Operations.   Farid has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
