We encourage OPNET customers to share their successful projects with the OPNET Community. OPNET is accepting material in two formats, depending on the amount of preparation you are comfortable with:

PROJECT BRIEFING
Executive Summary
MS PowerPoint Format

Project Briefings will be judged mainly on the business value of OPNET-based solutions to practical problems. All submissions should clearly define a business problem, illustrate an OPNET solution, and discuss specific results.

TECHNICAL PAPER
Journal style research paper
MS Word Format

Technical papers will be judged mainly on technical merit and/or innovative applications of OPNET software. All submissions should clearly define problem, illustrate the technical approach, and provide specific results.

Cash prizes will be awarded for outstanding technical papers and project briefings. IEEE Communications will also sponsor the best technical paper award.

Click here to submit an abstract.
An abstract is a short description of the project briefing or technical paper you propose to share at OPNETWORK. After reviewing abstracts, OPNET’s technical committee will contact you. If accepted, and after discussing your preferences, your material may be published in the online proceedings and you may be asked to present your work at an OPNETWORK session.
