OPNET Technologies, Inc. Releases OPNET Panorama™ 5.5 Software
Expands SYNERGY™ Channel Program to include Panorama, for comprehensive portfolio of leading application performance management solutions
BETHESDA, MD – July 10, 2008 –OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT), a leading provider of solutions for managing networks and applications, today announced OPNET Panorama 5.5 software, its solution for real-time application monitoring and analytics across complex, multi-server infrastructures. This latest release introduces enhancements for large scale implementations, enabling centralized management for large numbers of servers.
Panorama provides real-time performance analysis of Java and .NET applications by monitoring system and application metrics within each server, across all tiers. Patented deviation tracking and correlation enable Panorama to automatically spot performance anomalies, dramatically accelerating troubleshooting and also detecting problems early, before they reach a critical state. New enhancements provide greater flexibility in configuring Panorama to support large scale environments, enabling multiple approaches to centralized management.

OPNET is also announcing that Panorama will be available through their SYNERGY Partners. Announced earlier this year, the OPNET SYNERGY channel program is designed to increase the penetration of OPNET solutions among mid-size IT enterprises. SYNERGY Partners also represent other solutions in OPNET’s Application Performance Management Suite, including ACE Live™ and ACE™ Analyst, which leverage unique, advanced analytics for end-to-end application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
