Statscout’s network performance data incorporated into OPNET’s VNE Server

Bethesda, MD and Brisbane, Australia - February 9, 2004 --OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT), a leader in management software for networks and applications, and Statscout, an Australian provider of network monitoring solutions, today announced the addition of Statscout to the growing list of products supported by OPNET’s VNE Server.

OPNET’s VNE Server provides an on-line, continuously valid, integrated view of your network. VNE Server collects network data from disparate sources—and intelligently merges this information in the Virtual Network Environment—creating a unified network representation that can be used for network planning, engineering, and operations. VNE Server provides a complete, architected approach for managing network topology, configuration, and performance information.

Statscout is a truly out-of-the-box, web based, network performance monitor. Statscout collects SNMP statistics from all network devices, providing end-to-end performance visibility of the entire network and produces easy-to-read real-time and historical reports.
