"We are extremely pleased to have earned Solution Partner status in HP’s OpenView Solution Alliance Program,” stated Todd Kaloudis, Vice President at OPNET. "Our unique solution with HP OpenView Performance Agent data is a win-win for our mutual customers, who require end-to-end visibility in their capacity planning processes. As highlighted by a recent Gartner Group survey, enterprises continue to place high priority on consolidating system resources to reduce overall data-center costs.”

"Due to the enormous pressures facing IT to reduce costs, we’ve seen increased demand from the more sophisticated users of HP OpenView for advanced capacity planning capabilities that go beyond the linear forecasting in HP OpenView that a broad base of HP OpenView users find valuable," says Todd Delaughter, VP and GM of HP OpenView Business Unit. "We are responding to these customer needs by working very closely with OPNET, a recognized leader in capacity planning solutions, to provide an integrated solution with unparalleled predictive capabilities which cover application, server, and network perspectives. The combination of the industry’s most reliable performance collection software and most advanced end-to-end modeling empower data center managers with realistic and dependable ‘what-if’ scenarios that can be used to identify and justify cost-cutting measures.”
