OPNETWORK 2002 Attracts Record Attendance in Washington, D.C.

Top Industry Minds Share Best Practices for Optimizing Network and Application Performance

Bethesda, MD—September 4, 2002—OPNET Technologies, Inc, the pioneer and leading provider of Intelligent Network Management software, today announced record attendance at its annual technology conference, OPNETWORK.

OPNETWORK 2002 was held last week in Washington DC at the Ronald Reagan Building. Over 1,000 people from corporate enterprises, government agencies, service providers, and equipment manufacturers participated in over 500 hours of conference sessions in 17 parallel tracks covering a wide range of topics, including network engineering, planning, and operations. Over 90 presentations by customers and independent experts contributed to the technical program.

In a report published by Janney Montgomery Scott, research analysts Richard Sherman and Vincent F.
