OPNETWORK 2000, KOREA Highlights Growing Role for OPNET Solutions in Cellular, Optical Networking

The agenda featured a number of presentations discussing the use of OPNET software to design next-generation networks, including cellular and optical communications systems based upon IMT-2000 and MPLS technologies.

The daylong event attracted more than 200 attendees and included six technical presentations. OPNETWORK 2000, Korea was modeled after the annual, weeklong OPNETWORK users' conference held in Washington, DC each summer. Korea is one of the leading OPNET markets and staging the event in Seoul provided many OPNET users with an opportunity to listen to, and share experiences with, a sizeable user community.

Millennium InfoSystems used the event to announce the opening of its OPNET Training Center in Gangnam, Seoul's high-tech district. The center will be used to provide consulting services and new-user training for both the Unix and Microsoft Windows NT operating environments.
