IT DecisionGuru Takes Prestigious Award with Highest Overall Score Among All Products Tested in All CategoriesWASHINGTON, DC -- December 9, 1999 -- MIL 3, Inc., a leading provider of decision-support software for networks and applications, today announced that the company's flagship software, IT DecisionGuru, is a recipient of Network World magazine's Best of Tests award for 1999 after receiving the highest score among the 169 hardware and software products tested by Network World over the past ten months.
The award, announced in the magazine's November 15 issue, recognizes IT DecisionGuru for its ability to help "build a model of network devices and protocols, and test-drive network designs." Network World goes on to observe, "IT DecisionGuru predicts network activity and application performance using a combination of packet-by-packet traffic analysis and mathematical equations, making it easier to allocate bandwidth and avoid potential overloads."
