The Orange UK Forecasting & Capacity Planning team have used OPNET solutions over a number of years to create dimensioning rules for their radio access network. These rules ensure that voice and data services are handled together seamlessly, allowing Orange customers to experience the best possible quality of service.
Orange UK are extending the use of OPNET software to help develop and optimise their next generation wireless networks for optimal application performance. Current OPNET projects include both verification and modeling of application performance across Orange UK's cutting edge wireless infrastructure, based on observed and simulated levels of user demand.
