This position will require knowledge of OPNET's software portfolio, data networking, market analysis, market positioning, and direct selling.
The University Program is significant to OPNET - it stimulates academic network R&D and enhances the learning experience for students. Over 25,000 university professors and students use OPNET products in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, and related disciplines. Responsibilities include direct selling of OPNET’s software products to the academic community, maintaining accounts, developing and implementing marketing initiatives to enhance the program’s success, and improving processes to enhance effectiveness and operational efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with customers via email and telephone, reviewing and processing applications, processing orders, tracking program measurements, conducting market research, and other duties as assigned.
