As a Software Engineer, you will be engaged in designing, implementing, and enhancing features within the OPNET software products for real-time network monitoring and analysis. You will work in a small team and are expected to independently develop robust and extensible solutions within the existing development framework.
Qualifications
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with C/C++ development in an UNIX and/or Windows environment
- Experience writing and debugging C/C++ applications
- A strong background in computer science and/or networking
- Experience or project work dealing with complex distributed system architectures.
- Experience with operational support systems, network monitoring tools, or network management systems is very helpful but not required.
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art
