Software Engineers - (ACE™ Live)
Position
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will use your programming skills and experience (Java Swing/JDBC/APIs) and analytical skills to research, design, and develop intuitive user interface solutions (front-end and back-end). You will participate in the full software engineering cycle which starts with analyzing and understanding client requirements, collaborating with other senior developers in developing solutions that fulfill client needs within budget and schedule constraints, and shaping the overall software architecture by conducting design reviews, code reviews, and implementation demo reviews.
Qualifications
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or higher
- 5+ years of working experience in commercial environments
- Thorough understanding and experience with Java Swing/JDBC/APIs/Backend data access and configuration/Servlets
- Thorough understanding of databases (MySQL or equivalent)
- Experience with UML, XML and writing design documents
- Familiarity and experience with data analysis and statistical computing is helpful
- Experience with web services is a plus
- Must have attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work on multiple concurrent projects effectively with a team.
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
