Product Engineers
Position
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for performing root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation for our appliance-based network and application performance products, as well as for developing test scripts to perform data validation, load testing and system integration testing. You will work with a cross-functional team, comprised of software engineers, implementation engineers, product managers, QA engineers, and network operations specialists to create innovative software solutions that meet our customer requirements.
Qualifications
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics
- degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with implementing Unix Shell, Perl and SQL scripts
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL preferable)
- Ability to understand and test complex algorithms
- TCP/IP network knowledge at packet and protocol level is desirable
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art
