ACELIVEOPNET Technologies, Inc. (OPNET) offers a suite of managed services that enable customers to outsource their specialized application performance management requirements on a fixed-fee subscription basis. Managed services are ideal for customers who need OPNET solutions and subject matter expertise, but prefer an OPNET-owned and operated service delivery model in accordance with a well defined service level agreement.

OPNET supplies all required appliances, software licenses and updates, and professional services staff to provide a complete managed solution that can be customized to suit any unique customer needs. OPNET supplements its managed services with on-site professional services for in-depth application performance troubleshooting and analysis, which can be provided on a part or full-time basis.

Real-Time End User Experience and Application Response Time Monitoring
OPNET offers a Real-Time End User Experience and Application Response Time Monitoring service to provide visibility into application performance across the enterprise using OPNET ACE Live appliances. OPNET remotely monitors all business and missioncritical applications during normal business hours (or 24 x 7, if required) using a secure VPN connection. Any performance problem, anomalous behavior, or response-time SLA threshold violation is reported to the customer for assessment and resolution. OPNET also provides network metrics and historical trending analyses of application performance on a periodic basis as part of the service.

OPNET integrates the solution into the required customer data centers and uniquely configures the appropriate webbased dashboard metrics, alarms, SLA thresholds, and drill-down diagnostics required for the application performance monitoring service. The managed service includes appliances, software licenses and updates, implementation and configuration, remote solution management, and alert reporting according to an agreed upon response procedure. This managed service is also offered in combination with the Real-Time Application Component Monitoring service.

Real-Time Application Component Monitoring
OPNET offers a Real-Time Application Component Monitoring service to monitor system and application metrics from within each server and across all server tiers using OPNET Panorama software. OPNET remotely monitors the performance of specific applications and infrastructure components, such as web servers, Java and .NET application servers, data bases and operating systems, during normal business hours (or 24 x 7, if required) using a secure VPN connection. Any performance problem, anomalous behavior, or key metric threshold violation is reported to the customer for assessment and resolution.

OPNET integrates the solution into the required customer data centers on every server related to the applications to be monitored, and uniquely configures the appropriate web-based dashboard views, key metric alerts, and forensic policies for the monitoring service. The managed service includes software licenses and updates, implementation and configuration, remote solution management, and alert reporting according to an agreed upon response procedure. This managed service is also offered in combination with the Real-Time End User Experience and Application Response Time Monitoring service.

Optional Professional Services
To supplement our managed services, OPNET also provides professional services to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of application performance problems using our advanced analytics-based solutions and best practice methodologies. Application performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis is optionally available on a part or full-time basis, and can be performed onsite or remotely.
