ITT’s Advanced Engineering and Sciences Division uses the suite of OPNET products to assist in research, analysis, evaluation, and design of network technologies.

OPNET Modeler is being used in research to advance the state of the art in free space optical (FSO) communications. OPNET Modeler enables ITT to model FSO systems, and to develop, assess, and validate technologies.
